5 Highly Rated Gaming Laptops in 2017

Gaming is an enjoyment in itself and it is something that can keep you engaged for hours. There are multiple options when it comes to choosing the best gaming platform for yourself. Many people prefer consoles over PC because they do not have any experience with the hardware configurations or they are simply not interested in doing so since not everyone can build a gaming PC.

Going through the complexity of choosing correct parts, reading tech manuals and then putting all the parts together requires a lot of time, focus and technical know-how.

Why Choose A Gaming Laptop?

If you do not have the inclination to build your own, a gaming laptop might well be your best bet. They are ready-made, easy to operate, and most importantly, very mobile. Following are the reasons why picking a gaming laptop is a viable option:

  • They can be mobilized. Since they do not need a power cord like other systems, they can operate solely on a battery. They can be operated from anywhere and can be used at any given time. This means you can literally get on with your games anytime, anywhere.
  • They can be wireless. This means that when you are playing games, you do not have to deal with excessive wires. Heck, you can even go from bedroom to living room to make yourself comfortable or to get a better connection as required.
  • They do not need to be configured. Unlike PCs, laptops come configured. Although, many see this as a limitation but nowadays, many manufacturers are developing laptops that can later be configured as well.
  • They are VR ready. VR are the future of gaming. While it is still in its infancy, they are being researched and developed at a significant rate. Virtual Reality gadgets can be used more effectively if a gaming laptop is being used since you do not have to stay at a fixed place.

Another major selling point about this laptop is the OLED screen, which comes with a 13.3 inches, OLED, 1440P HD display.

Our Opinion: Although a 13.3-inch screen might be a little too small be used as a full-fledged gaming laptop, it is consequently more portable. However, it is VR ready so that is another pro of the Alienware 13 R3.

The first thing that you will notice about the Aorus X5 v6 is its glamourous design. At first glance, you will find it stunning. The Aorus X5 v6 comes with an Intel Core i7-6820HK processor, 16 GB RAM DDR3, 1 TB of HDD and 256 SSD. It also has a GTX 1070 GDDR5 with 8GB VRAM. Its screen is also unique as it is a 3K WQHD (2880×1620) IPS, Anti-Glare display with NVIDIA G-SYNC support.

Our Opinion: Although Aorus looks slim and attractive; the fan is noisy. Even on nominal usage, the Aorus X5 v6 is comparatively louder than other of its competitors.
